When does the lid lock and unlock? null

Hi Diana - The washer has a security system that prevents opening the lid during the spin cycle. The lid lock prevents anyone (especially children) from reaching into the washer while the basket is spinning. The lid lock will release within 5 seconds after the basket stops spinning. Models with Precise Fill (load sensing) will also lock during the load sensing period. Keep in touch! Sue
