A:AnswerHello. Thanks for checking with us. We're sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the noise coming from the hood. We understand the inconvenience, and would like to offer some help. We recommend using a smaller duct pipe to reduce venting. It is important to minimize the duct run length and number of transitions and elbows. We recommend referring to the installation instruction starting on page 12 to troubleshoot: https://files.bbystatic.com/SIIlaP6Ajr9vobiQeMtxmA%3D%3D/0c442115-8f3d-445d-a4fe-ca0bfc8c2766.pdf. We hope this helps, and should you have any additional questions, please reach out to us!- Kianna@GEA
A:AnswerThe plastic panel pops right out. There’s a plastic part that sticks out to the right side. I did noticed it’s sometimes hard to pop out when you don’t clean it for a while and all of the gunk gets in there from cooking.

A:AnswerWe appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us with your great question! Convertible range hoods can be installed to either recirculate or be vented externally whereas recirculating range hoods can only utilize recirculating venting. If you have questions regarding a specific range hood and its venting capabilities, Please feel free to contact us any time as we are always here to help! -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, this is a good question and we're happy to help. This dark matte finish is inspired by the rich texture of stone. The sides, case and accent parts are Dorian Gray (dark gray). With that said, we would most relate this color to a brown or gray. We hope you find this useful and we're wishing you the best. You'd make a great addition to our GEA family, so just let us know if you need anything else. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHello- Thank you for your question. A charcoal filter is only needed when you are recirculating the microwave. It is fine that it is installed, but it doesn't need to be replaced. If you have any questions in the future please let us know. We are always happy to help! Joyce@GEA
A:AnswerHello- Thanks so much for your question. This is slightly larger in depth but it is a standard range hood like your current model. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA
A:AnswerHello there, we're very sorry to hear you've had grease collecting on the fan. This is never what we want to see and we're happy to assist you. For help with this, we suggest cleaning your grease filter. To remove the filters: 1) Slide the filter using the tabs. 2) Pull the filter down and out. To clean the filters: 1) Soak them and the swish around in hot water and detergent. Allow the filter to dry completely before putting it back in place. 2) Light brushing may be used to help remove embedded soil and dust. 3) Do not use ammonia or ammonia products. 4) Dishwasher cleaning is acceptable, but may discolor the filter. To replace the filters: 1) Slide the filter into the frame slot(s). 2) Press up and slide into place. We hope this is useful information to you and we're wishing you the absolute best. - GW
