A: Hello CFM - Thank you for the interest in our wide range of vent hoods. We are happy to share more about them. Model UVW9301SLSS has a Boost setting that runs for 10 minutes at 610 CFM. The normal high setting runs at 380 CFM. The unit cannot also be converted to make 390 or 290 CFM the maximum setting if local code requires it. The model PV970NSS does not have the Boost setting but has a high setting that stays 450 CFM. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA

Q: Should there be a molding on top of vent or does it just sit there. It looks like it’s not complete

Q: Can this be installed as an under-cabinet vent hood, with the chimney/vent inside the cabinet?
A: No, it won’t work with this type of vent!
Q: Is there supposed to be a power cord with this hood or is it not included?
