“When I pour in the prewash and regular wash detergent, I see it instantly drip down onto the clothes, before I'm done pouring. Is this supposed to be happening? Washer is brand new. (GFW550SSN0WW).Lastly, my whites are turning yellow; not looking clean.”

Hi there! Thanks for asking, we can understand wanting to check on this. It is normal operation to see detergent leak on door gasket about 20 seconds after filling the dispenser. - For yellowed clothing, we'd recommend taking a look at the top of page 30 of your use and care manual. There are some troubleshooting tips for yellowed or grayed clothing that you can try. There is also an article on our website titled "WASHERS - YELLOWED CLOTHES" that you may find helpful as well. Please try again later.I have the same washing machine and mine does a wonderful job of cleaning it sounds like you might got a bad washer from the manufacturer I would take it back if it was me I know it's a pain but if it's not cleaning and it's dripping something doesn't sound like everythings in place sorry for the bad news
