• Unable to tell you this because it literally weighs the load once the water begins to dispense. It will dispense only the amount needed to wash the load, no more. It is extremely efficient in this sense and I received a rebate from my utility company because of it.

• We live in CA. Can't tell you the water usage specifically, but the washer adjusts water and soap suspension based on the load size.
