“I purchased the new blue front load GE washer and dryer. I never had a problem washing my bathroom rugs in my other front loader. In this new GE washer the load will not balance drain or spin in this washer.”

I am having this same problem. My clothes loads almost feel damp when washing. my one or two rugs are soaked and even after doing an extra spin cycle. This isn’t a pump problem, there is something going on with washing rugs.

We would like to offer some troubleshooting suggestions for the balance, drain, and spin problem. To troubleshoot, redistribute clothes and run Rinse & Spin. Increase the load size if washing a small load containing heavy and light items like your bathroom rugs. You can also straighten the drain hose and make sure washer is not sitting on it, and ensure there is an air gap between the hose and drain.
