Hi please explain how the ultra vent works. I read somewhere that it turns on every 15 minutes and stays on for 8 hours. Does it take 8 hours to dry out an empty dryer!?
Also is this an automatic setting, if not can it be turned on in the app? Thank you null

I can't seem to turn it on with the app, i wish i could, and i wish it would just start automatically right after a cycle ends so to keep laundry fresh. My LG washer and dryer both had extended tumble type settings and these unfortunately do not, a glaring huge error and step backwords in my book.

I'm not sure if you can turn it off with the app, but you can physically turn it off at the machine.

I wish they'd update the software so that the ultra fresh vent wasn't the automatic default after a load finishes. EVERY person who uses my washer starts their second load and it' on Ultra Fresh Vent (including me, the first few times I used it and often lately when I forget to turn the knob one and back to clear it) This is a design flaw and I have to have a big printed sign on my washer with instructions for any of my cleaners or guests who want to use it.
