The washer has a "rinse & spin" cycle that can include both or only the spin by de-selecting the "extra rinse" button.

This is certainly not the experience we expect for our customers and we're happy to help. This washer does have a spin function so it seems that your washer isn't functioning as it should. A "slow spin" may have been selected and this will eliminate less water than a fast spin. Also, oversudsing from too much detergent may slow down the final spin cycle, causing a suds lock. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). If your washer is less than a year old, you are covered under the warranty for a free service trip. We hope this is useful information! - Guy@GEA
