A:AnswerId like to know the same thing. Sometimes it home is really loud if I have multiple pots on the stove. If I push on it it seems to stop but once I touch anything it comes back. Does anybody have any answers to this?
A:AnswerYou do not, this stove slides all the way in against the back wall. Just did the exact same thing myself. They cut the piece because we’d not picked out our stove yet, they came to install and didn’t need it for this model.
A:AnswerI love my new oven. I use my typical cookware which includes an iron skillet. The oven cooks thoroughly and efficiently. The Best Buy staff installing it were SUPERB!! One was a female - she was AMAZING!

A:AnswerWe ran the self cleaning before we used it for baking, per the instructions. The fumes and smell were strong during the self clean, we needed to open a window and use a fan to push them out of the house. That was effective. After that was done, we have not noticed any smell at all other than the food cooking (the good kind of oven smell).
A:AnswerIt's like a black frame around the square where you cans see inside. The overall impression is dark like the stove top but not completely so maybe you could consider the average effect grey. You definitely need the ceramabryte to keep the stove top clean. It gets dirty easily. I never scrubbed a stove top this much. I don't know about your measurements mine sticks out some. Having those controls flat is and in front of the burners is interesting because it does make the handles a little further away versus my old stove where the controls were vertically placed on the front. All in all I like it though, it's easy to read the dials.
A:AnswerHi there, thanks for reaching out! You can use normal baking as well as convection baking. You can choose between the two modes. If you would like to utilize the normal baking, you would press the BAKE pad before setting your temperature. You can use Convection Baking by pressing on the CONV BAKE pad and then setting your temperature. This will engage the fan in the back of the oven to help move the hot hair around. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
A:AnswerHi SFC - Thanks for viewing GE Model JS760SLSS! The silver (shiny) racks included with this range should be removed from the oven before initiating a self-clean cycle as they may discolor and lose some of their luster. To keep the luster, the racks should cleaned with soap and water rather than cleaned in the oven's self-cleaning cycle. Porcelain enameled (dark color) racks can remain in the oven during the self-clean cycle. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

A:AnswerWe use several pots and pan that should probably be thrown away they're so beat up so no any pots will work. Just don't spin or slide them on the glass.
A:AnswerI think the ceramic cooktops are usually tested up to 50 lbs before breaking.
But in any case I have an old stainless steel (not aluminum) roaster from my gramma, that I have used on top for stews, and it weighs 8 pounds empty.
but just like anything with glass/ceramic, you don't slam the items down.
A:AnswerStrongly suggest you review the dimensions prior to purchase.
I did the same conversion. We I had no idea how different they are. But once you make the conversion I think you will be happier for future purchases.
Fortunately I have laminate counter tops. I had to enlarge the opening on the sides and the back. You may need a filler strip for the back since the stove does not sit flush against the wall. Minor issue since this is normal and the filler strip can be ordered.
A:AnswerI own this oven range have it with 0" distance form my back splash, mine is marble and tick grout. no issues, put my hand in the ventilation on th back with the oven at 375 degrees did not felt much heat.
I think you should be fine, you have 15 days to decide with best buy if you think os going to be an issue and return it.
