Questioncan you please tell me if the location of the plug on the back of the unit will keep it from going back against the wall. i have seen reviews on other models that state the plug had to be relocated to fix this issue. not finding information in manual

- Answer If you use a flush mount receptacle oriented with the length parallel to the floor, according to the dimensions and installation sheet, the range will sit against the wall when plugged in. You may need to relocate the outlet.

QuestionCan you use cast iron cookware on the surface unit? I have a Magtag Gemini that I will be replacing soon and when I bought it, many years ago, they did not recommend using cast iron as it could over heat and break the ceramic top.
