“Can you use cast iron cookware on the surface unit? I have a Magtag Gemini that I will be replacing soon and when I bought it, many years ago, they did not recommend using cast iron as it could over heat and break the ceramic top.”

• I have been using my LeCreuset Cast Iron cookware on this unit for over two years with no issues. The rough bottoms on some cheaper cast iron cookware will scratch the glass surface.
