When they installed mine I was told to let run w/o clothes for 30 minutes. It did smell but went away after the 30 minute break in. I take it the installer never mentioned this.

Please try again later.If you don’t smell burning must be your vent is off in the back, if you smell smoke your lint could be burning, maybe clogged up in the dryer or vent, or if you smell any plastic, could be your wiring is shorting out. Check vents clean out lint, if still persist call for service
