If the signal strength prohibits connection to Alexa voice - cab I just use an app to control remotely?

Great question BeaDub! Our devices require 2.4g wifi networks and will not connect to a 5g network. If you have a blended network with both combined you will have to disable 5g momentarily to connect. I have mine connected to 2.4 G and it works excellent.
