Greetings, This is a great question to ask! The outer window on the door is made of glass. There isn’t an inner glass window, only a plastic film on the inside of the door frame/window. We do recommend cleaning your microwave regularly in order to maintain its appearance. You can find cleaning tips in the cleaning section of the owner's manual. Hope this helps. Mike@GEA
