- Answer Hi Joe- Thanks for continuing to make GE Appliances a part of your home! The most comparable model is our GE Profile™ Series 2.2 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEB7227DLWW (24 1/8"W x 14"H x 19 3/4"D). This model is compatible with GE® Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX7230DLWW and GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX7227DLWW. The only difference between the 27" and 30" trim kit is the trim frame. If the microwave is installed over a 27" or 30" wall oven, be sure to match the trim kit width to the oven. Trim kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model. - Answer The current replacement models include the PEB7227ANDD which is available in limited quantities and model PCWK22U1WDD. If you used the 27" - JX7227SLSS or the 30" - JX7230SLSS built-in kit, they are compatible with the new model microwaves. To determine the size kit you used, measure the overall width including the trim on each side. -Vikki@GEAppliances

- Answer Hey there - thanks for reaching out about your existing trim kit. We do not have any currently manufactured microwave models that are compatible to Trim Kit JX7230SFSS. Trim kits are model specific. So if you are going to purchase another built in microwave, you would need to purchase the compatible new trim kit as well to make sure it's installed properly. For example, for the model of microwave that this question is on, PEB7227ANDD, the compatible built in kits are as follows: For 27” cabinets: JX7227BLTS (Black Stainless); JX7227FMDS (Black Slate); JX7227SLSS (Stainless steel); JX7227ELES (Slate). For 30” cabinets: JX7230BLTS (Black Stainless); JX7230FMDS (Black Slate); JX7230SLSS (Stainless steel); JX7230ELES (Slate). QuestionI am looking for the same GE Profile microwave that is in a Model Home with number PEB7727AN3DD. THIS model (without the 3) comes up in my search and says it is 14" tall vs. 'AN3DD' model is just shy of 13" tall. Is that possibly a discontinued model?

- Answer Hello, thank you for your question. The "3" at the end of your microwave's model number indicates manufacturing information. When the model is manufactured, these extra letters/numbers are placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. These letters/numbers are used to identify manufacturing specific data when the appliance is made. Should service or parts be needed, these are used as identifiers for the specific appliance. Therefore, the PEB7227AN3DD that you own and the PEB7227ANDD are the same model and will be a direct replacement. We hope this helps!
