According to GE's Customer Service the PEB7227SL1SS is comparable to your existing microwave as long as the dimensions are the same as 14" H x 24-1/8" W x 19-3/4' D.

Hello DVW123 - We are very sorry to hear your microwave is not working properly. This is unexpected and we would be happy to help. Model PEB7227DLBB will not work with the same trim kit. However, we recommend PEB7227ANDD as it is compatible with the same trim kits as your current trim kit. Thanks! - JB
