Hi there Kat, Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear your sister's oven is slow to preheat and we can understand your hesitation. We're happy to provide some assistance. Preheat takes approximately 10-20 minutes depending on model. If the oven is taking much longer than normal to preheat: First, turn off the circuit breaker for the range, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. This makes sure that it is not getting half power. If it was newly installed, then we recommend having the installer check the power cord to make sure it was wired to the range properly.
