Good day, Ozzy! Great to hear you're interested in Nest Wifi Pro! It plays well with most modems and internet providers. But if you have a modem/router combo, turn off its Wi-Fi or switch it to Bridge mode to prevent network hiccups. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. This is a router than can be connected to a modem. It can also serve as an extender or access point if you have 2. 1st one is the dedicated router connected to the modem then the 2nd is placed somewhere within the range of the first to carry the signal farther or support more devices. If you are connecting it to a modem/router combo from your internet provider, you will want to turn off the wifi from the provider modem/router and name this one to be the same wifi name and password you had before and everything should connect automatically when you are done with the setup.
