I had a similar problem, so I restarted my router and then my Nest was able to connect to the WIFI
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for your help. I returned and bought another. It connected with no trouble. All 4 are up and running. That unit was defective.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure your wifi is not a hidden network. You can connect to 5G Wifi but it has a hard time accepting hidden networks when you manually enter the info.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We're sorry to hear about these issues you've experienced. We'd suggest making sure the router is within range of the Nest Protect, and that the Nest Protect is on and close by the phone you're using to pair the Nest Protect. If the errors persists, we'd suggest resetting the Nest Protect to defaults by pressing the protect once to wake it up and then pressing and holding the protects button until you hear it speak the version number. Once it begins speaking the version number, you can let go and it should begin a countdown. If the issue persists past that point, feel free to reach out to us through one of our support channels which can be found here: Nest.com/help
