You can link it to your iPhone HomeKit and if you have a android with a home kit of some sort you can ask either the iPhone or Android to turn of the “kitchen, bedroom, living room lights” by asking Siri or whichever voice activation is on Android.

Discover new devices and bam your echo will be connected to your lights. You can creat groups once you’ve done that such as ‘living room’ to turn off the room, turn them on, dim the lights, and change their colors.
