well there's a couple of questions

1- there's no maximum cameras, - - - - - yes, if you subscribe to nest aware, is $100/yr for the first one and somewhere like $50/yr for any additional
2-no cameras are wireless. the detect is, no charge for it
3-so far no one, they're looking to include that service. no alarm that calls the police.

Not sure about maximum cameras. Nest aware is $100 per year for 10 Days of video footage or $300 a year for 30 days. The first camera is 10 per month each additional camera is $5.00. Cellular backup is $5.00 per month. Nest has a partnership with MONi to do third party monitoring but it’s not Avaiable yet.
