• Can't sign up for the care plan anymore so it is totally unsupported by GoPro. In fact to find parts on their site you have to find the back door in.

• Yes, but since it has been discontinued by the manufacturer, your only looking at about two years worth of support. GoPro told me they will support it until parts run out.
