If it's out of warranty, Best Buy has some agreement with Apple (since they also sell new Apple items) that they can't work on those out of warranty computers--makes no sense to me, but it is what it is…and funniest thing is that Apple doesn't work on out of warranty computers (or other iStuff) either!!! You should check out iFixit.com at this point. They have instructions, with pictures, showing how to swap out your drive--and it's really not that hard if you're an old shcool guy who's done something similar in the past. This just involves removing a few more screws that previous version of MacBook. And if you haven't bought your SSD, prices have really dropped where I got a 1TB SSD for less that $150.00…
