Yes, the Geek Squad crew are able to remove and replace most hardware down to the modular component level, (motherboard, hard drive, power supply, cpu, ram) as long as the parts are not too outdated. Sometimes they can find a suitable substitute for out dated products.They can load new, as well as reloading old, software in the store facility. I was very impressed with their service knowledge and professional communication abilities.
