I would suggest you Check out FOMO's settings on YouTube. I use Dish and I think the picture looks fine, but of course, it's a subjective thing as to what one person finds acceptable and another might not. I'm very happy with the picture quality and it's one of the better TVs at making low-quality signals look better. So if you can't make this one look good enough for you good luck finding a TV that will.
