• Yes, it is eligible for a free upgrade. It's a download, you don't receive a DVD. Although you can download it as an ISO file and burn it to a DVD. I've installed it on three computers so far, and have a couple more to do. And it's worth the time to do so.

• For information on the Windows 10 upgrade I recommend contacting Microsoft. This computer comes with Windows 8.1.
