A:Answer My daughter and I just purchased one each of this computer after speaking with a Best Buy "computer education" person named Jennifer for over 30 minutes about the best laptop for our needs, for the price. My daughter is a high school teacher, Advanced LA4 and Literature. I am a learning coach. This is a strong, solid machine. We did purchase the additional Office for a reduced price (offered with the purchase). I would recommend purchasing Office, needed for Powerpoint and other quality document work, valuable for a student. As we narrowed all computer options down to this one, we felt it was the best bang for the buck (even with the Office price of 65.00). With us both using the computer for educational purposes, we feel it is a fine choice for a student.
