This HP PC does ship with an AC adapter. I recommend a case that will fit a 15.6" notebook.

I travel cross country all the time with a fairly light weight bag, because my work computer is huge, and with everything I carry with me I don't need any extra weight! All laptops come with a power supply/charger. You only need to buy a second one if you're going to use a docking station and want to keep it set up all the time.
