Good question. Yes, this computer has a great processor to handle a lot of different programs. However, for gaming, this is not the best choice. Games such as Sims requires lots of RAM (at least 8 GB) and at least an i5 processor and a dedicated graphics card for best performance. Sims is a demanding game. I hope this helps.
