Pros: Lightweight Enough power to run Office with no problems Easy setup Cons: Plastic case means it's lighter but not as stable Slower than expected, but still good enough to run spreadsheets with no issues Could use better resolutilon Could use backlit keys We bought this to replace a HP laptop that died. We were looking for a sub-$400 model and this works well for the $$. If we could have afforded a higher-end machine, we could have gotten more RAM, higher screen resolution, etc., but for this budget, this was the best we could find. It does what we expected, but without many bells and whistles.

Nice size screen and good color. Easy to keep clean. It's light weight glad we didn't get the bigger screen. Battery seems to hold a charge for a good while. Wife doesn't complain.

Battery life and speed are good. I like the processor, I like the space. Don't do a lot of gaming but everything is good.

6th generation i5 gives fast boot up and response with more than enough storage. Another 4g memory will put it over the top but I wish there was a dedicated cover to get to the slots. Mainly used for email and general tasks, it's so far worry free. As with any new touchpad it takes some getting used to, but overall the right choice at the right price.

this laptop is easy to use a nd quick to get a handle on. It is light weight and easy to carry around, with a 4 hour battery before you have to plug in to recharge.

This computer is suitable for my needs. I mostly use it for browsing the internet. The speakers are set in the back and the sound quality is average (for a laptop) at best so it is not great for video/ entertainment purposes. The laptop is a bit slow to react as well. I am a novice when it comes to computer technology but in the end you get what you pay for. I was looking for a low budget computer to store my music, photos and surf the internet. This computer handles those demands so I satisfied but if I could go back I think I would have bumped up my budget to get a better product.

My laptop crashed. Had to get something in a hurry and did not want to spend much. Nice laptop. Does the job. Main uses Microsoft Office and Internet for work. With multiple web browsers and office programs open laptop handles well enough to get the job done. It's also fairly lightweight. I hear the battery life is ok too. It's nice to have a second one now that gets the job done and that I can carry around without too much bulk.

We bought this computer for our son who needed one for Jr. HIgh Classes. Since he has to carry it around every day we wanted to get him something that would be fast enough to do the required work but inexpensive enough that it would not hurt too bad if something happened to it. It works great and he loves it.

This was a great computer for basic computing. Intel I5 dual processor, 4GB of Memory and the 1TB of harddrive for storage is a good amount for basic computing. .

I like this laptop because of 2 reasons. It has intel i5 and windows 10. this is a very well designed and a nice color (Blue) with grainy outer cover. That outer cover helps it to prevent for any finger print and also make it non-slippery. Performance is above average (4 GB RAM). plenty of storage (1TB)

I think this laptop works great for it's intended use as a lower cost laptop. It has only 4 mg of memory, but that's enough for cruising on the internet. I'm no expert, but I think the processor's speed makes up for the lower amount of memory. I could always add another 4mg if (and when) the internet continues to get more and more full of ads trying to sell you stuff, which slows it down. If you're a gamer, this isn't the unit for you. But if you just want it for browsing online or working on documents, it's good enough.

Bought this for my wife to replace her antique laptop. Very happy with the speed and storage on this item. Ease of use and setup.

If you just need a better than average PC laptop for productivity and performance, this one does the trick. At around $400 for an i5 with 4GB and a 1TB, you're not going to do much better.

Bought a different laptop from another company at first and it was just bad couldn't connect to the Internet and the features were weak it was weaker than a smartphone so I exchange it for this HP and I'm so glad I did I was already use to HP laptops already having one this being my 2nd but this laptop is kind of powerful and definitely is great for streaming videos, video editing, lite gaming & going online for whatever. Start up time is a little slow sometimes but not bad and it shut down pretty fast & the battery life is pretty good, all in all its an awesome laptop and definitely great for your everyday needs.

I bought this laptop for my daughter. She will be using it for the upcoming school year. This purchase has been the best buy I have made in a long time..stylish..speedy processor, lightweight etc... Easy to travel with also.

I bought this hp laptop for my wife. We are seniors and found this unit priced right and prefect for her needs.in fact I need to replace my 12 year laptop and we'll be looking at this hp as a replacement

This laptop is great, it is fast. The battery on laptop is good as well. It has froze on me twice in the past month but it's not a big issue for me because I use it everyday.

HP isn't new to me. I own one, and I bought this one for my daughter and her family. I use it when I visit her, and I am happy to report I recommend it completely. It's fast, easy to use, and I always use a mouse because the finger pad on most laptops are annoying to me, but I can easily use it on this HP.
