4GB memory is good enough; size is fairly big, consequently slightly heavy.

I bought this laptop for my son who was starting college. He likes it because it's big enough that his hands can use the keyboard with no issues and yet light enough that he can carry it to class if necessary.

I liked the pc a lot. It is easy to handle and the clarity is very good.

Works perfect, completely satisfied and would recommend it to anyone !

I purchased this computer not sure of how it would perform since there were no reviews for it yet. I have been happy with it so far. I don't use my computer much, but it has been very good for my needs.

Nice laptop. Keys are sensitive to the touch. Very light touch. However the space bar doesn;t always "space", I don;t know why. If you accidentally rub your hand or forearm over the pad you can sometimes move text into other portions of what you are writing, so proofread well.Windows 10 is a whole other issue. Having not used windows for 12 years, I've got a lot of catching up to do. Many old icons are now :CTRL" XXX-whatever. and some have changed from the previous iterations. CTRL C is still cut, but CTRL P is print when I believe it should be paste. Paste is now CTRL V. What does V have to do with paste anyway? The laptop suits all of my needs and I learn more and more each day. I love it!

This laptop is good for a basic laptop. Bought it for my nephew. He used it for a week and a half and returned it. He wanted something with a better graphics card and something a little faster, like a SSD. He liked it while he used it though so it may be perfect for your needs.

The sales rep recommended this one and it hasn't failed me yet.

Pretty fast, works fine without a problem. Opening the battery is almost impossible though. So, dont plan on adding more memory or performing your own upgrades. Other than that its great

My granddaughter loves the fact that she now has her own laptop, she enjoys playing games on it and now with the new school year starting plan on using it for school work and projects.

This is my 1st laptop purchase. This laptop is really easy to use and has given me no problems yet. It starts up and powers down real quick. I personally think it's great.

There it's ONLY one problem I did find with this LapTop, it has NO keyboard light, which it make it ipossible to be used in the dark, having the keyboard in black color too, and without any source of light around. I like the CD tray like in old laptop's versions, because i still run some programs stored on discs.

When it came time to replace an older laptop, also purchased from Best Buy, I chose this HP. As always, the Best Buy people were extremely helpful, they know their technology products, and they give good advice without the pressure. I have no regrets with my HP.....and would recommend it without hesitation.

The HP laptop is exactly what I was looking for, internet surfing, email, word documents, excel documents. I am not a gamer so that was not a factor in choosing this laptop. Windows 10 is taking a little getting used to it.
