“I purchased this laptop...so far I love it. but, I can't get my ear buds to work with it, the plug goes in most of the way but they do not work. is there a special type that I would need to get to use with this computer?I do not want head phones,”

I haven't had any issues with the headphone jack. I use a basic 3.5mm plug. Maybe make sure it's pushed in all of the way. Mine usually clicks in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should not need a specific kind of headphone, or a jack. If your ear buds use a standard jack, then make sure you are inserting the plug fully into the headphone jack of the laptop.
