Q: How good is this computer with gaming?
A: This computer would work well for light gaming, the Ryzen 5 processor is up to the task. Do note that any laptop/desktop without a dedicated GPU (like an AMD RX 550) would not be able to play most modern AAA titles at high frame rates or quality settings.
Q: Will the DVD drive play standard movies?
A: Yes it will but Windows 10 does not include the needed software. You can buy it for an extra $59 or download free software from the internet such as VLC media player. That's what I did. It's fast and easy.
Q: Does the DVD read/write also work for recording CD’s?
A: Yes, it has a DVD-Writer which you can use to read or write both DVDs and CDs.
A: Go to Google and download a FREE copy of "VLC Media Player" It works and it has many things that MS Video Player does not have, and cannot do. Don't think you have to pay a lot extra for GOOD software. I also recommend Open Office, which is Freeware, and operates much like the Windows product that you have to pay for.
Q: Does this laptop support windows ink and wireless pen capabilities?
A: Yes it does
Q: What comes inside the package
A: Just the laptop and a few peices of paper. Nothing helpful!
Q: How many pictures will it hold?
A: That question doesn't have a single answer, because it depends on size and resolution of the photos as well as what else is on the computer. What programs will you install? What documents will you store? But let's say you kept 100GB just for photos ... you could store about 5,000 photos at average size.
Q: Is the SSD a m.2 drive or a 2.5" drive?
A: It is an M.2 SSD.
