The computer comes with a 30 day trial of McAfee LiveSafe. Windows 10 also has built in Windows Defender which can be activated. Depending on your usage of Office you may be able to use the Office Online software which allows you to use most of the features of Office 365.

There is some very good free antivirus available on Google.com. You can also find some great free office programs there just as good as Microsoft depending on your needs. Open Office is free. Libre Office 6.1 is a good program. I wouldn't help get these big companies bigger when you don't need to spend that money. Look around and put your checkbook away.
