They're both telling you the same thing: to add a second HDD or SSD (2.5" SATA) instead of upgrading the 128 GB M.2 SSD. This is because you don't have to migrate the OS that way, although you can replace the current SSD with a larger capacity if you're comfortable with the cloning process.
