Its not recommended to use refilled ink cartridges.

I tried using refillable ink cartridges and they did not work. I'm not very tech savvy. I would not recommend it.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING HP INK. I OWNED A PHOTOSMART PRINTER BEFORE I PURCHASED THE HP 7520e AND WAS USING OTHER INK AND IT REALLY MESSED THE PRINTER UP.

They can be refilled but this proceedure is NOT recommended! Refilled cartridges are prone to frequent failure and the ink is of inferior quality!
