I'll be darned if I can get this to work with Windows XP with service pack 3 installed. Have tried on 2 different machines, Dell xps machines dual core proccessors and lots of disk space. Have down loaded and install driver from HP site. Done everything. null

My computer was an XP. Pretty sure it should work with XP. I Upgraded a few years ago to Windows 7. This printer works perfectly.

OK... time to move on from the MS XP software. If your machine won't run it, get a new machine. I love Window XP also, great software but for support from newer peripheral equipment and newer software you have to have drivers that may not exist. Is it planned obsolescence? Probably but we just have to live with it, hanging on to old equipment or software just causes more problems than we need. Sorry
