• No it does not need to be connected to a computer. You install it and all computers should be able To find the wireless printer with no problem as long as you have wifi.

• No your computer does not have to be connected to the printer if it is wireless.

• There is only an initial setup using the included disk but otherwise a computer does NOT need to be physically connected via USB to the printer; so long as the computer and the printer are set up on the same wireless network the computer should be able to detect and use the printer without wires.
