“Has anyone had trouble with the ink drying out from little use? Does the printer have a standby maintenance mode to keep the ink from drying out?”

• The best way to keep the ink from drying out is to make sure you turn the printer off with the power button on the printer when you're not using it. That will cap the print heads so they're not exposed to the air, which is actually what usually happens when people think the ink has dried out-it's actually dried in the printhead.

• It’s suppose to go into sleep mode, and yes there is a maintenance mode

• I haven’t had the problem , but it does go through the ink very quickly. Even on Econ setting
