QuestionIs a monthly plan required to use this printer? Or can I just buy 65 ink normally?

- Answer You don't have to enroll in the automatic ink plan to use the printer. You can just purchase ink cartridges seperately. However, the cartridges that come with the printer (starter cartridges) don't seem to last long, so I would recommend buying a set of cartridges when you purchase the printer.

- Answer I believe this printer is NOT eligible for the free Instant-Ink plan (15 pages per month). I called HP to check myself, and they said that HP printers with a list price of less than $100 are eligible, and this printer has a list price of $119.

- Answer Yes, you can connect it with a cord. Unfortunately, the cord does not come with the printer.

- Answer Yes, you can do that. You'll need to turn on "WiFi Direct" on the printer, which will create a printer-only wireless network. Then, you just need to make sure that your iPhone is on that wireless network so it and the printer can communicate.

- Answer Yes, you should have no problems with cardstock or 3x5 card. However, you may be limited to single-sided printing with the heavier stock. The printer has to manipulate the paper or card to flip it so it can print on the other side, and that's harder to do with heavier stock.I'd suggesting trying it on a single card and seeing if it can handle the two sided printing with the particular paper stock you're using.
