Best Buy is very accommodating and will advise on the best upgrade path, if that's possible, for you. A one-terabyte hard drive, of any configuration, can be had for a reasonable price as they've become more common in the PC market. A quick trip to online pricing at Best Buy or computer's manufacturers web site will be your best way to see current pricing.
