Hi, Does the HP 9025 have a printhead message problem where printhead is said to be failed when it actually likely has not failed? This is the case with my 8620, and has made me wonder if Epson is a safer choice? null

Had a similar situation with my 8620. Wondering even more now if the printhead had actually 'failed'.

We’ve only had our 9025 for a few weeks and no problems. 
We have had an 8620 for years, and never had a problem. It gets a lot of use too. 
I have seen all brands of printers get a blocked print head if they are not used for a while. I found that “rebooting” the printer 5 or 10 times can clear the clogs most of the time.
