It likes to be used at least every 6 months. 
Direct correlation to a LaserJet is trickier, but closest are the M479fdw or the M283fds
*f = fax
 d = duplex
 w = wireless

The M477FDW is the closest LaserJet model to this one. This printer is perfect for users who print quite often. If you are going days or weeks without printing you may want to consider a model like the OfficeJet 5255 which is great for users who print a ream of paper (500 sheets) every 6 months or so.
