“Does this printer have printheads? Will it operate with windows 7 & 8? Ihave an officejet 8500 pro that only lasted 1&1/2 years, the printheads went out.”

• The print heads are on each ink cartridge. I use cannon printers. Have been for past 10 years using 3 different printers. I use windows 7 and previous versions of windows.
