“Can you continue printing with low ink levels? Does this printer allow you to continue printing even after the printer software estimates that the ink cartridge should be empty? In other words, do you decide when the cartridges are empty and not the printer? I’ve had printers, (not HP), cease printing due to low ink even though there was still considerable ink remaining.”

• My experience is that it will continue printing with low ink, it will not, however continue printing if the cartridge is empty. Also... HP printers only recognize their own cartridge... the 'refilled' replacements wont be recognized...

• Take the cartridge out, shake it, and continue to use til it quits printing. Just have another new one ready when it stops working.

• You can still print, but quality may not be as good. The le cc el indicators are usually pretty accurate.

• Yes mine is indicating that is low on ink but it is still printing.
