• In a word, yes. The switch itself is easy. Buy yourself the ssd drive and connect it to the computer via the USB port to clone the contents of the hdd onto the ssd. Then shut the computer down, take the battery out, and unscrew the cover over the hdd. Unplug the hdd, plug in the ssd and screw the cover back on. Then power up the computer. Done!
