“Previously had the HP 14 in. Pavilion 360. LOVED it, but the Left hinge broke within 2 years. Research showed this was a common problem. My question- DID HP FIX the hinge issue in this model, or did they just rename this?”

Thank you for the question, apologies for your experience. . With a new name comes new technology and features (think WiFi, SuperSpeed USB ports, etc). and more eco-firendly design.HP's naming convention is not to label an old model with a new name. Regarding quality, we wish that you had contacted HP for assistance. Our products undergo hundreds of tests, and hinge durability is one of the priorities.
