• Thank you for the questions. Yes, you can add a hard drive. Per the HP specification, the power supply is 180 W Gold efficiency, so you would not be able to upgrade the video card without first upgrading the PSU.

• There is a free open PCI slot, so I guess so. You can plug a usb-c (ultra fast) ssd into the bottom port on the front as well. I have an extra 1 Tb ssd plugged in there. No problems.. it's way fast..WAAAAAY fast.
