Thank you for reaching out. This model should be generally quiet. You would need to use a DVI to HDMI adapter to use your monitor. You could certainly use your current keyboard as long as you have an available USB adapter.

Please try again later.I have always had HP towers and never had problems mix-matching components from other manufacturers; monitors, printers, keyboards, etc. In most cases the OS recognized the the peripheral and automatically downloaded the necessary driver when applicable. My computer is only a month old and is "super quiet." I find them only to become noisy after they're 4 - 5 years old.
