This has a VERY fast solid state drive. Programs load exceptionally fast. It also boots very quickly. This has the fastest SSD performance I've seen on a consumer focused Ultrabook. HP combined a slower drive with Intel's Optane technology, which works like a cache for hard drives to speed up access to frequently used information.
